Barbara Casasola  (Born June 16th, 1984) was born in Brazil and is a fashion designer currently based in London.  She gives credit to her late Italian grandmother (a seamstress) for her passion for fashion and dressmaking.  She studied fashion at Central Saint Martins and graduated cum laude and first in her class from Instituo Marangoni
 in Milan.

She was hired by Roberto Cavalli after graduation and served as his first assistant designer in women's fashion for two years.

Beginning January 2010, she worked with Gabriele Greiss on assignments for Lanvin and Chloe.

In the summer of 2012 Casasola launched her fashion label for which Vogue in Brazil praised her work.  She presented her second fashion collection during Paris Fashion Week and was given great reviews by Style.com.

Her work has been featured in Vogue, Elle Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and Vanity Fair.  She was chosen as Vogue Italy's "Who's Next" award for top new fashion talent.

Her designs are made in Italy but designed in London and are available worldwide.
